Privacy Policy

Overview
SafetyFirst Recruitment ("we", "us", or "the Company") respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website. This policy explains what personal information this website collects — in short, none — what happens to information you choose to send us directly by email when applying for a role, and your rights under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What this website collects
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind. We don't set cookies, track your visits, or know who you are, where you came from, or what pages you viewed.
No part of this site asks you to submit personal information through a form, sign up, or create an account.
Applying for a job
We don't host an online application system. Every job posting on this site directs applicants to email their resume directly to our recruiter, quoting the job's reference number. Any personal information you choose to share when applying — your name, contact details, work history, certifications — is sent through your own email provider, directly to us. It is never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through this website.
Training videos and third-party embeds
Our training videos are played through an embedded YouTube player. When you open a video, YouTube may set cookies or collect data in your browser as part of its own service, governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. We don't control this and don't receive any information from it. If you'd prefer not to load YouTube's player, simply don't open a training video.
How we use information you email us
When you email us your resume or application, SafetyFirst Recruitment collects and uses that information to consider you for current and future placements, to verify certifications with the relevant issuing bodies, and, with your knowledge, to share your information with prospective employers as part of a placement. We don't sell your personal information and don't disclose it for any purpose beyond the recruitment process described here. We keep it only as long as needed for these purposes, or as required by law, then securely delete it.
Your rights under PIPA
Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw your consent to our continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to this website or to applicable law. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
